Refund Policy — Consultation & Medicine Fee Rules
We want the experience to be fair. These are the refund rules for your Sehat Ji consultation and medicine fees — when a refund is due and how the process works.
Consultation fee refunds
You are eligible for a full refund of the consultation fee in the following cases:
- The doctor did not join the call within 15 minutes of the scheduled slot
- Technical issues on Sehat Ji's side prevented the consultation from happening
- You cancelled the booking at least 4 hours before the slot (see Cancellation Policy)
You are eligible for a 50% refund if you cancelled less than 4 hours before but more than 30 minutes before the slot.
The consultation fee is not refundable if:
- The consultation happened as scheduled
- You did not join and did not cancel (no-show)
- You joined late and used less than the scheduled time
Medicine refunds
You are eligible for a full medicine refund or replacement if:
- The parcel arrives damaged or tampered with (report within 48 hours of delivery)
- The medicine received does not match what your doctor ordered (report within 7 days)
- The medicine was not delivered within 10 business days of dispatch
Once a sealed parcel is opened, medicine is non-refundable for hygiene and safety reasons.

Common questions about refunds
Why is medicine non-refundable once the parcel is opened? Homeopathic medicine is dispensed per case, in doses prepared for one patient. Once a sealed parcel is opened the medicine cannot be safely dispensed to anyone else — not because of the medicine itself but because the chain-of-custody is broken, and resale of opened pharmaceutical goods is not legal in India. Any dispensing problem spotted before opening the parcel (wrong patient name, broken seal, visible leak) is a full refund or replacement at our cost.
What if my doctor cancels after I've already paid for medicine? If a doctor cancels after medicine has been dispensed, you can keep the medicine and reschedule the follow-up at no charge, or return the medicine unopened for a full refund. We will cover the return courier.
What if the consultation happened but I feel it was unsatisfactory? This is handled case-by-case rather than by a flat policy. Message our team on +91 90689 77310 with a short note on what felt off and we review it with the attending doctor. If a mistake has clearly been made on our side we refund the consultation fee; if the issue is a clinical judgement one of ours we will usually offer a second consultation at no charge rather than a refund, because a second opinion is likely to be more useful than money back.
How are refunds credited? Refunds are returned by the same route the payment came in on — if you paid our team by UPI, the refund goes to the same UPI handle; a card payment is credited back to the same card. Bank-side settlement typically takes 5–7 business days after our side processes it.
